Does the life you built still fit the woman you’re becoming?
There’s a moment when you look around at the life you worked hard to build and wonder:
Does this still fit me?
Maybe nothing is wrong. Your life may be good. You’re handling your responsibilities, showing up for the people you love, and making things work.
And still, something may be changing.
Maybe it’s your work, relationship, family responsibilities, body, energy, friendships, routines, or the amount of access people have to you.
Maybe you know what you want. Maybe you’re still figuring that out.
I’m asking women 35+ to share what this season feels like in real life, not because everything is terrible, but because even a good life can need a closer look.
I’m not here to diagnose you or tell you what to change.
I want to understand what you’re noticing, what you’re considering, and what may be taking shape.
The first part takes about three minutes.
There’s an optional Deep Dive afterward if you want to keep going and think through it a little more.
You can stop after the first part. Your response still counts.
Don’t give me the good answer.
Give me the true one.
How old are you?
This first round is specifically for women 35+.
For this first round, I’m specifically listening to women 35+ because I want to understand this particular season of life without blending it with completely different ones.
Which one feels closest?
What parts of your life are making you question the fit right now?
Choose up to three.
What have you gotten very good at doing that you’re no longer sure you want to keep doing?
Don’t worry about making it sound profound. What came to mind?
If you woke up tomorrow and nobody needed anything from you for an entire year, what part of yourself do you think would come back?
What makes changing your current arrangement feel expensive?
Choose the two that hit hardest.
Finish this sentence without overthinking it.
No explanation required.
Seriously.
If you want to stop here, stop here.
Your answers count.
But if these questions stirred up something and now you’re sitting there thinking...
“Okay, but that’s not even the half of it...”
I have a Deep Dive.
This part is completely optional.
These questions go where polite conversation usually doesn’t.
You don’t have to protect anybody’s feelings here.
You don’t have to make your answer sound fair.
You don’t have to explain why you should be grateful.
Nobody is going to interrupt you with a solution.
If there’s something you’ve been thinking that sounds selfish, petty, complicated, contradictory, ungrateful, inappropriate, dramatic, or just difficult to explain...
This is where you can say it.
Let it rip.
What are you tired of being “the one who” does?
Anything here hit a nerve?
Tell me yours.
What is your body refusing to keep putting up with?
Need a place to start?
What has your body been trying to tell you about it?
If you really changed your life, who would have the hardest time with it?
Check everybody who comes to mind.
What do you think they would have the hardest time accepting?
What do you think women our age are thinking... but would NEVER say in mixed company?
Ever thought any version of these?
So what’s the thing YOU think women aren’t saying?
What do you already know about your life that you keep trying to talk yourself out of knowing?
Take your time.
I’m not giving you any examples for this one.
I don’t want to put the answer in your mouth.
What would you say here that you probably wouldn’t say to anybody who actually knows you?
I know some of these questions weren’t easy.
And I’m not interested in rushing through these answers just so I can slap five conclusions on a graphic and call it research.
I want to sit with what women actually say.
Especially the answers that don’t fit what I expected.
Sometimes one woman says something that puts language around what another woman hasn’t been able to explain yet.
May I anonymously quote or reference parts of what you shared as part of The Life Fit Project?

I’m okay with Ebony...

If you only choose the first 100 results and/or The Fine Print, your email does not need to be connected to your questionnaire answers.
You can unsubscribe from emails whenever you want.
You’re finished.
Your answers are in. Thank you for being part of The Life Fit Project.
One question worth sitting with.
Not homework. Not a five-step plan. Just a question to notice what it brings up.
